Why "Tenzing"?
In 1953, Tenzing Norgay and Edmund Hillary became the first climbers confirmed to have reached the summit of Mount Everest. While Hillary received much of the initial acclaim, it was Tenzing's extraordinary skill, determination, and deep knowledge of the mountain that made the ascent possible. He didn't just accompany Hillary—he guided, supported, and enabled one of humanity's greatest achievements.
We named our product after Tenzing Norgay because that's exactly what great software should do: work quietly in the background, bringing expertise and intelligence to help you reach your own summits. Like Tenzing, our software doesn't seek the spotlight—it empowers you to accomplish more.
